Well, in the realm of "the world's most extreme Asian culture fusion festival", to be a champion, you will have to outwit, outplay, outlast, & outshine all those who have come before you & will after you. With the 6th season of The Asian Karaoke Idol Invitational fast approaching, TAKII 6 ~NintenDecision 2008~ is proud to formally announce its uniquely-diverse set of challenges & contests. Each festivity will give all participants an ultimate opportunity at our extreme brand of eternal glory, including:

NINTENDECISION 2008 ELECTION EPICENTER:

...."NintenDecision 2008 Election Epicenter" gives everyone the chance to vote for the best of the best (or worst of the worst) in the world of Nintendo in an abundance of well-informed categories. The "Election Epicenter" will also serve as the voting hub for the rest of TAKII 6's vote-basted activities.

Voting will be ongoing until the end of Day 1 of TAKII 6 (Oct. 25th, 2008), with winners being announced at the "NintenDecision 2008 Election Results Show" on Day 2. Only 1 ballot per individual -- once you have voted, you cannot change your selections. As an added incentive to thoughtfully vote, the 1st randomly-selected ballot will receive a special election-style, Asian-themed prize pack, compliments of TAKII & its sponsors/affiliates!

The fun doesn't stop there, as we will also provide commentary (via the website & Asian Multimedia Entertainment Network) befitting of "the world's most extreme Asian culture fusion festival" for the current 2008 US Presidential Election! We cut all of the crap no one cares about & put a simplified, fun focus on the candidates' positions on Asian culture & the youth of our generation...."

...."In the 1st seasonal "TAKII Cover Art Contest", entrants will get the opportunity to show off their artistic talents as they compete to create the best cover art for a faux (fake) game.

You may use anything from original hand-drawn art to manipulated Photoshop images on your Cover Art Contest entry. Entries must be uploaded somewhere on the Net & a link provided for download (ie: Photobucket, Geocities, etc.) & received by Sept. 16th, 2008. Afterwards, TAKII fans worldwide will have a chance to vote in "Election Epicenter" (until Oct. 25th, 2008) for their favorite piece of cover art & decide who gets our uber-special prize pack & once in a lifetime chance to be called the very 1st "TAKII Cover Art Contest" Champion! All entries will be auctioned off on Day 2 for TAKII 6's Charity Beneficiary, The Asia Foundation...."

...."Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to record yourself (&/or your loved ones) doing something simply mind-blowing to invoke an extreme emotion from the TAKII fans who would be watching your display of talent(less) skill.

Submissions for the "Showcase" will be accepted until Sept. 24th, 2008, after which time TAKII faithful worldwide will vote on their favorite (via "NintenDecision 2008 Election Epicenter") until Day 1 of TAKII 6, Oct. 25th, 2008. The 1st ever "AMEN Talent Showcase" Champion will be announced on AMEN during TAKII 6 weekend (& receive a special TAKII prize pack)...."

...."AMV hobbyists & newbies alike will get a chance to produce their version of the perfect fusion of Asian video clips & a funky soundtrack to go with it & get it judged by TAKII fans worldwide. While there is only 1 AMV Battle Royale, there are 2 championship categories: "Most Extreme" & "TAKII 6 Championship Challenge".

All entries must be received by Oct. 11th, 2008. Once the deadline passes, all of the entries will be posted online & voted on by TAKII fanatics all around the Net via "NintenDecision 2008 Election Epicenter" until Day 1 of TAKII 6, Oct. 25th, 2008. Everyone will get to select their favorite AMV for each category, with the winner receiving special recognition on Day 1 of TAKII 6 & immortality here on the site & a prize from TAKII & its sponsors/affiliates...."
